A long-running feud between two groups in Dadu, Sindh, claimed eight lives after an exchange of fire. According to the available information, six members of the Akbar Chandio group and two members of the Sheikh Gulab Chandio group were killed in the firing.
The incident created an atmosphere of fear in the area, while a heavy contingent of police was called in to control the situation and maintain law and order.
