Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police carried out grand combing and search operations in five areas of the federal capital, checking 194 people, 68 houses and 119 vehicles and motorcycles, while shifting six suspicious persons and nine motorcycles to police stations for further verification.
An official told APP on Friday that the search operations were conducted in the jurisdictions of Sabzi Mandi, Sumbal, Shehzad Town, Lohi Bher and Golra police stations.
During the operations, police teams checked 194 people and 68 houses, besides inspecting six shops as part of the security exercise.
The teams also checked 89 motorcycles and 30 vehicles at different locations.
The official said six suspicious persons and nine motorcycles were shifted to the respective police stations for further verification.
ICT Police urged citizens to cooperate with police teams during checking and immediately report any suspicious activity to the police.
