PESHAWAR: A police official was seriously injured when unidentified assailants opened fire on police and WAPDA personnel in Tor Chappar Kohikhel area of Darra Adam Khel, Rescue 1122 officials said on Sunday. According to Rescue 1122 Kohat, a medical team immediately reached the scene after receiving information and provided first aid to the injured official. The official, identified as Shah Nawaz was in critical condition and taken to a local hospital in Sheni Khel before being shifted to Peshawar for further treatment. Shah Nawaz is reportedly a resident of Sani Khel area of Darra Adam Khel. Further details about the incident and the identity of the attackers have not yet been disclosed. APP
