Peshawar(PR):An award giving ceremony was held at Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police School of Intelligence, Abbottabad, on Friday.
MrInayatUllah, Senior Minister Local Government & Rural Development and Chairman of Police Reforms Committee Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was chief guest of the ceremony which was also attended by, DIG Hazara Region, Saeed Khan Wazir, District Ameerof Jamat-e-IslamiAbdurRazakAbbasi, DPO Abbottabad Dr. KhurramRasheed, Naib Tehsil Nazim, SardarShujah Ahmad,faculty members of Police School of Intelligence, and graduates ofthe intelligence course.
Addressing the participants, MrInayatUllah thanked the administration for inviting him over the ceremony. He applauded the recent improvements and upgradation in KP police and mentioned the Chief Minister Pervez Khattak and IGP Nasir Khan Durrani`s role in this regard. “You are well aware of the importance of intelligence in the present scenario.
It is of utmost importance to counter crimes and terrorists in the prevailing circumstances”, he said. “You need not only work hard but work smart, through which your endeavors will prove fruitful. The present era is of smart work and not only hard work” he further told.
He also quoted the military campaigns of Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H.) in showcasing the importance of smart work and said that our Prophet used to utilize intelligence before undertaking any campaign or waging war, and intelligence and smart work always gave him an edge over his adversaries because such a course always enabled him to formulate a better combat strategy based on combat intelligence, and execute it effectively.
Highlighting the importance of peace an environment conducive for prosperity and development, he urged upon the graduated officers and jawans that they should act steadfastly and implement the acquired knowledge in countering enemies who are trying to paralyze the country.
He also emphasized them to have faith in Allah and in their abilities and assured that the present provincial government had depoliticized the police and freedthem from the shackles of politicians.
Later the Senior Minister InayatUllah distributed certificates among the graduates of the intelligence course that lasted from 2-4 weeks and different cadres of police officials completed their training.
KP Police School of Intelligence was inaugurated on 3rd October, 2014 to bolster the policing service of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. So far it has trained about fifteen hundred police and this year 799 officials were trained.
