SHIKARPURSS: The mother of senior journalist & writer Sarang Muneer Soomro passed away after short illness at the age of 70 at her native village Chak town of Shikarpur district, here on Thursday. The funeral prayer was held at Chak town which was attended by representatives of political, religious, city organizations, notables of the city and journalists including Rahim Bakhsh Jamali, Nazeer Qureshi, the president and GS Shikarpur Press Club, respectively, Sultan Rind, Waheed Phulpoto, AK Soomro, Jibran Murtaza Abro, Abdul Salam Unar, Ashique Dayo, Sikandar Siddiqui, Atiq Dukhar, Sajjid Shaikh, Assistant Accounts Officer, and others and expressed their condolence and sympathies’ with grieved family members and prayed to Almighty Allah to give patience to bereaved family members on unbearable loss.
