The National Highways & Motorway Police (NHMP) recovered a wallet containing approximately four tolas of gold (worth around PKR 1.7 million), an iPhone (worth approximately PKR 200,000), and other valuable items that had been lost on the motorway, and returned it to its rightful owner.
According to details, NHMP officers were on routine patrolling duty in the Daud Khel area on Motorway (M-14) when a family travelling from Islamabad to Quetta informed the Motorway Police that their children had accidentally dropped a wallet from the vehicle during the journey.
According to the affected citizen, the wallet contained approximately four tolas of gold (worth around PKR 1.7 million), an iPhone (worth approximately PKR 200,000), and other valuable belongings. Upon receiving the information, the Motorway Police immediately alerted all relevant patrolling units and launched a search operation to locate the wallet.
After a continuous search, the lost wallet was successfully recovered. Following the necessary verification process, the wallet, along with all the valuables it contained, was handed over to its rightful owner.
