Governor Sindh Syed Nehal Hashmi inaugurated the three-day Healthcare Exhibition at Expo Centre Karachi, where more than 100 public and private healthcare organizations are showcasing the latest medical technologies, healthcare services, pharmaceuticals, and hospital equipment. The exhibition also features conferences and technical sessions on key healthcare issues.
Addressing the inaugural ceremony, the Governor welcomed the participants and emphasized that “Cleanliness is half of faith, and prevention is better than cure.”
He stressed the importance of hygiene in all sectors, particularly in hospitals and healthcare facilities, adding that quality healthcare should be guided by the spirit of service rather than commercial interests.
Advisor to the Prime Minister on the Sehat Sahulat Programme, Arshad Qaim Khani, said the programme was launched to reduce the financial burden of medical treatment on families. He added that nearly 30 million people across Pakistan are currently benefiting from government-supported healthcare services.
The three-day exhibition has brought together healthcare professionals, government institutions, and industry stakeholders to promote innovation, collaboration, and advancements in Pakistan’s healthcare sector.
Also present on the occasion were foreign delegates and council representatives from the Russian Federation, Republic of Korea, Indonesia, Moldova, and Türkiye, along with Prof. Javed Akram, President of the Pakistan Society of Internal Medicine (PSIM) and Chairman of Akram Medical Complex, Lahore; Muhammad Raza, Senior Vice President of the Karachi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCI).

Addressing the gathering, the speakers emphasized the importance of innovation, international collaboration, and public-private partnerships in strengthening Pakistan’s healthcare sector and improving access to quality healthcare services.
Mr. Zohair Naseer, CEO of Badar Expo Solutions, welcomed the exhibitors, delegates, and distinguished guests, highlighting the importance of the exhibition in promoting innovation and collaboration in Pakistan’s healthcare sector.
