Seven died in fire at private company

At least seven people were burnt to death and several others scorched when a huge blaze erupted at the office of a private company here on Wednesday.
Rescue sources said that due to gas cylinder explosion fire erupted in a private company office located near Mahmood Booti in the provincial capital Lahore. The fire spread rapidly and engulfed the entire building within no time.
Fire tenders and rescue personnel rushed the scene of the fire and started rescue operation. Mayor Lahore Col (Rtd) Mubashar Mehmood has reached the incident spot and monitored the rescue work.
The fire was brought under control after hectic efforts of more than two hours.
Meantime, seven people were burnt to death while several others were scorched. The bodies and scorched people were shifted to Khawaja Saeed Hospital, Lahore.
