While leveling allegation of rigging in election, dissident leader of PML-N Daniyal Aziz said that a program has been made to rig the election through postal ballot.
In Narowal district, the number of teachers and employees of the education department is 20 thousand.
Including the employees of other government institutions, ID cards are being forcibly demanded from them.
While talking to media in Narowal, he said that they are filing application to Election Commission (EC) and Punjab government to stop this rigging. Rigging program is being worked out through postal ballots by. Daniyal Aziz further said that ID cards have been forcibly taken from Government employees in my constituency NA-75.
Legally, ID cards can only be asked from those who are on duty on election’s day. Other government employees are not allowed to cast vote by postal ballot.
We have contacted teachers associations and are also informing about the media about the matter.
He said that we have applied to EC to provide a level playing field but EC has not taken any action on our request so far.
We are waiting for EC to play its role for free election in the country.
Contesting an election is constitutional right. If the opinion of people is not taken then what is the use of such elections.
Why are elections being held if the opinion of people is not given any importance?
In response to a question, he said that I am tired of asking Ahsan Iqbal to tell people how inflation happened during his regime but Ahsan Iqbal has not answered my questions till now. I will continue to raise my voice against inflation.
