AAA Associates, in its efforts to combat global warming, commenced its Rabi-Ul-Awal Plantation Drive at F-9 Park, Islamabad. The initiative is in line with Prime Minister Imran Khan’s vision of Green & Clean Pakistan. Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed spearheaded the occasion. Senator PTI Fauzia Arshad, Madam Ambassador of Turkey Zlatomira Yurdakul, Country Head Turkish Cooperation & Coordination Agency (TiKA) Mr Gokhan Umut, Education Counsellor Embassy of Turkey Dr Ilhami Ayranci, Country Head Turkish Red Crescent Mr Ibrahim Carlos were among the other dignitaries, who graced the event with their presence.
Deputy Commissioner Islamabad Hamza Shafaat honoured the event. MD AAA Associates Col(r) Shahzad Ali Kiani was also present on the occasion.
Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed planted a sapling along with other honorees to promote plantation drive for the sake of preserving the natural environment. Later, Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed addressed the media and appreciated AAA Associates’ Green Initiative. He accentuated the importance of planting trees in Islam and regarded it as a charitable act. Senator PTI Fauzia Habib and other notables also partook in the activity.
MD AAA Associates Col(r) Shahzad Ali Kiani thanked the auspicious guests for gracing the event with their presence. He put great emphasis on the need to protect and conserve the environment.
