ISLAMABAD: JI Amir Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman while terming the decision regarding abolition of net metering anti people has said the decision is aimed at saving IPPs mafia and snatching the right of inexpensive electricity from the people. He said in his statement issued on social media website the decision for ending net metering is anti people decision. This is a clear economic terrorism. He held government has deceived the people. It aims at saving IPPs mafia and depriving the people of their right to the inexpensive electricity. He underlined now the solar consumers will sell their electricity at lower rate while they will have to buy the electricity needed by them at higher tariff. He remarked all government policies in power sector have met failure. Now all burden is being shifted to the people. He said we reject this decision of government and NEPRA. Online
