AC extends interim bail of PM’s son-in-law till 17th

LAHORE: An accountability court in Lahore has extended the interim bail of Haroon Yousaf, son-in-law of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, till February 17. The court has sought arguments on next date of hearing on bail plea. Haroon Yousaf was personally present in the court at the time of hearing. He is accused of keeping assets beyond his known sources of income. The TLTP learnt that the NAB prosecutor said that Bureau had no proofs against Haroon Yousaf as per NAB law. He said NAB was not pursuing his arrest. The court asked from the advocate that did he want to withdraw the bail plea. Upon that he replied in affirmative.
