On the direction of Deputy Commissioner, Khyber, Assistant Commissioner, Landi Kotal Irshad Mohmand examined various beautification schemes being progressed in different areas of the subdivision and urged the contractors to complete it as per PC one plan.
The administrative officer paid a visit to Landi Kotal Bazaar, Hamza Baba Complex, Government Degree College, Kam-Shelman road last day and reviewed the beautification and development projects.
He insisted on the contractors to use standard material and complete the schemes on time.
Speaking on the occasion Irshad Mohmand said that after merging of the ex-tribal agencies, the government has launched certain development projects to remove the sense of deprivation of the tribesmen. and to bring the backward region equal to the developed areas of the country.
Delay in developing schemes or utilizing substandard materials in the construction works will not be tolerated, he added.
He maintained that the government has determined to provide basic facilities to the tribal people in their door steps and to bring the backward region equal to the developed areas of the country.
