Islamabad-December 31 (Online): Chairman National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) Asad Umar announced that Pakistan has achieved the target of vaccinating 70 million people by the end of 2021.
He wrote in his tweeter account “Praise be to God, the goal of complete vaccination of 70 million people by the end of 2021 has been achieved. I am grateful to the NCOC team for their tireless work, the federal and provincial administration and the health teams for their special visits. The hard work of all these people achieved a goal that people thought was impossible.”
Asad Umar further applauded the government by saying that the federation procured 100% of the vaccines worth more than 250 billion and has provided vaccines to all the country’s citizens regardless of the province they live in.
He thanked the concerned teams for their extreme efforts throughout the process. This target could only be achieved by the determination shown by all the concerned people, he added.
