Acting Regional Police Officer (RPO) Mardan Najib-Ur-Rehman on Sunday said that all available resources would be utilized on the welfare of police force, saying the protection of lives and property of the people is the topmost priority of the force.
He expressed these views while addressing a police Darbar (Court) at Nowsehra Police Lines.
The RPO was given a guard of honor upon his arrival to Nowsehra Police Lines.
Later, Najib-Ur-Rehman laid a wreath on the memorial of police Shuhada at the district police lines.
On this occasion, the District Police Officer Nasir Mahmood also accompanied them.
Addressing the police Darbar, RPO Mardan said that all issues pertaining to police force in the region would be solved effectively.
“Nowshera Police is the Force of Ghazian martyrs and will not let the sacrifices be ignored by giving the people a sense of security through their role,” he added and said that dignity and respect of the people must be ensured.
He furthered that the purpose of this Durbar is that the officers and youths come face to face and open their hearts to point out the problems faced. The performance of the department is improved by the process of punishment.
At the end, certificates and cash prizes were distributed among the police officers and youths for the best performance.
