PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has decided to take action against vehicles operating illegally on Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) routes in Peshawar. According to the Regional Transport Authority (RTA) on Thursday, an operation against rickshaws and taxis using BRT corridors will begin today. Officials said the campaign will continue for one week. The purpose of the operation is to eliminate illegally operating vehicles and reduce traffic congestion on BRT routes. Authorities added that the crackdown will be carried out in phases to ensure the complete removal of unauthorized vehicles. APP
