Advisor on health visits Bacha Khan Medical Complex Swabi

Caretaker Advisor to the Chief Minister on Health Dr Abid Jameel on Tuesday visited Bacha Khan Medical Complex Swabi.
Dean of Gajju Khan Medical College Prof Dr Shams-ur-Rehman, Director of the hospital Dr Amjad Mehboob, District Health Officer (DHO) Abdul Latif were also present on the occasion.
Dr Abid Jameel inspected different sections of the hospital and reviewed provision of health facilities to the public.
“I visited the newly established Emergency and Burn ICU,” he added and expressed his satisfaction on the performance of the staff of the hospital.
Director of the hospital Dr Amjad Mehboob on the occasion briefed the caretaker advisor about the overall operations in the hospital and OPD service.
He informed that the Bacha Khan Medical Complex Swabi has its coverage of OPD from1000 to 1600 per day, adding that works on new emergency facilities are underway at the hospital.
Prof Dr Shams-ur-Rahman informed the team members that 80 percent referral system has been controlled and now all patients are being treated at the hospital.
The caretaker Advisor also planted a sapling in the hospital and became a part of the ongoing plantation campaign in the hospital.
Speaking on this occasion, he assured the resolution of the hospital’s problems and said that no compromise should be made in providing treatment to the patients. He also assured the hospital administration of all kinds of support, including purchasing necessary equipment and other necessary machinery.
