Ahsan Iqbal strongly condemns the atrocities of the illegal occupying Zionist state


The delegation of Pakistan Muslim League (N) has met with the ambassador of Palestine posted in Islamabad. This meeting took place at the residence of the Palestinian ambassador. The delegation was led by Muslim League (N) Secretary General Ahsan Iqbal while former Minister Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry and Tariq Fatemi were also present.
The delegation conveyed a special condolence message from Pakistan Muslim League (N) leader Nawaz Sharif, former prime minister and party president Shahbaz Sharif. The delegation expressed solidarity with the oppressed people of Palestine on behalf of the leadership, workers and people of Pakistan Muslim League (N).
The delegation paid tribute to the martyrs of Palestine, condemned the Israeli attacks and expressed grief and sorrow on behalf of the people of Pakistan over the martyrdom in them. Speaking to the Palestinian ambassador, Ahsan Iqbal said that he strongly condemns the atrocities of the illegal occupying Zionist state, the attack on the hospital in Gaza and the martyrdom of more than 500 Pakistanis are heartbroken.
Ahsan Iqbal said that the people of Pakistan have always stood with the people of Palestine and will continue to support the oppressed Palestinians regardless of the pressure from Israel’s friends. The occupying Zionist army is committing genocide against the besieged Palestinians. The Security Council should fulfill its responsibilities, fulfill the commitments according to the UN Charter.
The United Nations Security Council has made it clear in several of its resolutions, especially 242 and 338, that the establishment of two independent states is the only solution to this conflict. The five permanent members of the Security Council must stop Israeli aggression and atrocities against Palestinian citizens.
Ahsan Iqbal said that the neighboring states of Palestine should play a constructive role and ensure the emergency supply of humanitarian aid so that the problems of the Palestinian people can be reduced.
The delegation also recited Fatiha for raising the ranks of the martyrs.
