ISLAMABAD: The staff at Islamabad International Airport demonstrated a high standard of honesty and professional responsibility by recovering and returning valuable belongings to passengers in two separate incidents. In the first incident, Ms. Bibi, who arrived from Madinah on a PIA flight on 18 January 2026, reported the loss of her gold necklace in the Arrival Hall. The DFO Arrivals team responded promptly, recovered the necklace weighing approximately two tola and valued at around PKR 1 million, and deposited it with the Lost & Found section.
