LAHORE: Punjab government has imposed ban on purchase of syllabus books , uniform and other education related items from the specific shops. School Education Department has decided to take action against private schools which compel the parents to make purchases from specific shops. According to notice private educational institutions can not force the parents for specific vendor or service. Forcing others from purchasing goods from specific shop is violation of Punjab Private Educational Institutions Ordinance and the private schools violating this ordinance will be proceeded with under law. According to authorities the complaint in regard to illegal steps be got registered with respective education authority or chief minister complaint cell. The rights of parents will be protected.
