ISLAMABAD: Barrister Aitzaz Ahsan has filed a petition in Supreme Court (SC) for early hearing of the case filed in connection with recovery of missing persons. It has been said in the petition SC had heard Aitzaz Ahsan petition on January 03. SC had sought details from federal government regarding missing persons. Over six months have passed , the case could not be fixed for hearing again. The court had sought written assurances from the government that enforced disappearances will not take place . The enforced disappearances are still continuing despite court’s orders. PTI member of assembly Sahibzada Amir Sultan, Muazzam Jatoi and Atta ur Rehman of social media have been lifted. Aitzaz Ahsan has taken plea in his petition that his case regarding enforced disappearances be fixed for hearing next week. Online
