All Pakistan Car Dealers Association delegation calls on Syed Fakhar Jehan

A delegation of the All Pakistan Car Dealers Association of Small Traders, led by Central Chairman Haji Bakht Mir Jan Durani, called on Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Syed Fakhar Jehan here on Wednesday.
The delegation included the Association’s Provincial President Haji Muhammad Islam and Provincial General Secretary Muazzullah Khan.
Matters relating to cars dealers, issues faced by business persons associated with the same sector, and Excise and Taxation-related affairs came under detailed discussion.
The delegation felicitated the provincial minister on his inclusion in the cabinet and on assuming charge of the important portfolio of Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control.
They also presented several proposals for improving departmental performance, facilitating business activities and enhancing revenue generation for the province.
Minister Syed Fakhar Jehan appreciated the valuable suggestions and said that a clear roadmap had been devised for ensuring transparency, good governance and efficient public service delivery within the department.
He added that reforms will introduced to strengthen institutional efficiency and to make services more accessible to the public.
The minister said that negligence in public service by any official or staff member would not be tolerated. “Our aim is to move the province forward on the path of progress and prosperity under the leadership of the Chief Minister and in line with the vision of founding Chairman Imran Khan,” he stated.
He further said that the reforms would eliminate malpractices and ensure maximum ease and facilitation for the public and business community alike.
