SSP-Operations Lieutenant Commander (retd) Kashif Aftab Abbasi has said that all resources would be utilized to provide with the security to citizen in the provincial capital.
He announced that cameras were being installed in important and sensitive areas of the city for security purpose and surveillance of all entrances and exits has been made more tightened.
He made these remarks during a visit to historic Qissa Khawani Bazaar and other adjoining areas of the inner city.
On this occasion, SSP Operations Peshawar was briefed on security arrangements and other important measures.
City Atiq Shah was also present and briefed the SSP Operations on the security arrangements made for the commercial and residential areas of the inner city.
Kashif Aftab Abbasi also met the presidents of various markets on the occasion and issued necessary orders while getting acquainted with the problems faced.
SSP Operations clarified that the series of special measures for maintaining peace in the city has been intensified under which the process of installation of cameras at important and sensitive places was underway.
Enhancing inner-city Ababel Squad riders and police patrols, including tightening, will further improve the law and order situation.
Later on, SSP Operations also visited LRH, KTH Hospital and Hayatabad Medical Complex and inspected the overall security arrangements of the concerned hospitals.
