KARACHI
The Anti-Narcotics Force Saturday confiscated 20kg heroin secretly hidden in gloves dispatched by a company from Karachi to the UK through Islamabad International Airport.
The cargo was booked for the UK by a Karachi-based company and the ANF personnel foiled the smuggling attempt.
An ANF spokesman said that an investigation has been launched to arrest the culprits involved in the operation.
The heroin was secretly hidden in gloves, crockery and garments.
