ANF officers visits Safe City Islamabad

The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) officers visited Safe City Islamabad, a police public relations officer said. He said that a delegation of ANF officers visited Safe City Islamabad and was briefed about the Centralized System, Command and Control Center, data hub unit and the functioning and benefits of modern technology.
Safe City Islamabad is playing a vital role in various sections, including the Police Operations Center, Emergency Control Center, Dispatch Control Center, E-Challan System, and the “Pukar-15” helpline.
Safe City Islamabad’s modern technology-enabled cameras are playing a crucial role in the city’s security, crime prevention and protection of citizens’ lives and property. After assuming the charge Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, extended the coverage of the Safe City Project to different areas of the city and installed 900 more cameras.
The Safe City services have been integrated with important commercial centers, buildings, metro bus stations, shopping malls, and private housing societies across the city. Facial recognition cameras have been installed on the city’s entry and exit points, which play a significant role in identifying suspicious elements.
Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) officers met with the Capital Police Officer (CPO) Safe City. They expressed their appreciation for the modern technological system implemented by the Islamabad Capital Police, noting its impressive effectiveness.
During the meeting, the Anti-Narcotics Force officials sought guidance and assistance in implementing a similar modern technical system for their own operations. The CPO Safe City assured the officers of full cooperation and support, pledging to assist in the organization and implementation of the advanced technical system for the Anti-Narcotics Force.
