ANF seizes over 56 kg drugs

The Anti-Narcotics Force conducted nine operations around educational institutions and in different cities across the country, arrested 10 suspects and seized 56.70 kilograms (kgs) of narcotics worth more than Rs 6.7 million. According to an ANF spokesperson, several raids were carried out as part of an ongoing crackdown against drug trafficking and supply networks, particularly targeting the sale of narcotics near educational institutions.
In Karachi, 2.4 kgs of hashish were recovered from a suspect near Landhi, while at Jinnah International Airport, authorities seized 330 grams of ice concealed in the shoes of a passenger travelling to Bahrain. The accused was arrested. In Sialkot, ANF recovered 300 ecstasy pills weighing 182 grams from a motorcycle rider near Dry Port Chowk.
Near Chenab Toll Plaza in Gujrat, officials recovered 1.070 kgs of ice and 280 grams of weed from a truck and arrested two suspects. In Attock, 80 ecstasy pills weighing 56 grams were seized from a vehicle near the railway station and one suspect was taken into custody. In Karachi, 1.220 kgs and 770 grams of ice concealed in gym equipment were recovered from parcels at courier offices in Saddar and I.I. Chundrigar Road. The parcels were destined for Australia. In Islamabad, ANF recovered 38.4 kgs of hashish from a vehicle near a petrol pump on Kahuta Road and arrested two suspects.
