ANP staged a protest in Wana against closure of 3G, 4G internet

Awami National Party rallied from Wana Bazaar, the rally passed through Wana Bazaar and ended in front of District Press Club Wana.
Rally participants held banners demanding the restoration of 3G and 4G and the establishment of peace, law and order.
Senior Awami National Party leaders Noor Zaman Wazir, Ayaz Wazir, Taj Wazir, Hamayun Wazir, Malik Anwar and Yasin Wazir while talking to media on the occasion said,
For the past two months, 3G and 4G internet services have been shut down for unknown reasons, As a result, tribal people have been forced to live in darkness.
The educated class belonging to Wana sub-division of South Waziristan has been deprived of online admissions and online applications,
Said, that 3G and 4G networks in Wana be restored immediately so that locals can study online as well as enroll online, otherwise they will stage protests after Eid Ul Azha.
On the other hand, the participants of the rally, while discussing the deteriorating peace,
law and order situation in Wana, demanded from the government to restore law and order in Wana and hand over their powers to the police in accordance with the law.
Finally, they strongly condemned the assassination attempt on Advocate Ashfaq, President of Razar Tehsil, and demanded from the provincial government to arrest the culprits involved in Ashfaq’s assassination and punish them.
