The provincial spokesperson of Awami National Party (ANP) Arsalan Khan Nazim has announced that the grand public meeting being organized by the party chapter on the occasion of the 38th death anniversary of Bacha Khan and the 20th death anniversary of Khan Abdul Wali Khan will be held today (Friday) at Farooq-e-Azam Chowk, Charsadda.
He emphasized that the party was fully determined to make the public gathering a success, regardless of weather conditions or challenges.
Arsalan Khan said that Bacha Khan and Wali Khan were towering leaders who dedicated their entire lives to the struggle for the rights of the Pashtun nation.
They endured imprisonment, confiscation of property, and exile, yet never compromised on their principles or the rights of their people.
He said that despite facing immense hardships and sacrifices, both leaders stood firm, remained the voice of truth, and defended Pashtun rights under all circumstances.
“These great leaders have countless favors upon us and the entire Pashtun nation. Whatever tribute we pay them will always be insufficient,” he added.
The ANP spokesperson stated that the party proudly follows the ideology and teachings of Bacha Khan and Wali Khan and vowed that no obstacle, be it rain, hardship, trials, or even a hail of bullets, would deter them from conveying their message to future generations.
He added that Senator Aimal Wali Khan will address the gathering and outline a clear policy direction and future course of action in view of the prevailing political and security situation.
Arsalan made a strong appeal to the people to participate wholeheartedly in the historic public meeting for the survival of Pakhtunkhwa, restoration of peace, resistance against terrorism, raising the voice for the innocent children of Tirah, and for carrying forward the teachings and legacy of Bacha Khan and Khan Abdul Wali Khan to coming generations.
