In a bid to enhance transparency and improve institutional performance, a high-level meeting was held at the Civil Secretariat Peshawar between Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Higher Education Meena Khan Afridi and Adviser to the Chief Minister on Anti-Corruption Musaddiq Abbasi to discuss the proposed anti-corruption toolkit for the Higher Education Department.
During the meeting, Minister Meena Khan Afridi briefed the Adviser on a series of reforms and ongoing initiatives aimed at improving departmental efficiency. He highlighted key areas of progress, including digitization, austerity measures, and resource rationalization, while also outlining the challenges the department continues to address.
Both officials reaffirmed their commitment to eliminating corruption from the Higher Education Department in accordance with the vision of PTI founder Imran Khan. They pledged to mobilize all available resources to promote transparent governance and ensure efficient service delivery to the public.
Adviser Musaddiq Abbasi assured that a comprehensive feedback draft on the proposed anti-corruption toolkit will soon be shared with the department. The toolkit aims to support the development of stronger accountability mechanisms and institutional integrity frameworks.
