Citizens encourage filing complaints on online portal “Ikhtiar Awam Ka”

The Anti-Corruption Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Friday claimed to have recovered 190 kanal and 2 marla of land, valued at Rs 21,386,250.
A press release said that the land had been illegally occupied in the Tangi District of Charsadda.
The operation was launched after receiving multiple complaints regarding unlawful occupation of land owned by the KP Housing Authority. Following a detailed inquiry, it was confirmed that the land was being held illegally.
With the support of the District Administration Charsadda and the District Police Officer, Anti-Corruption KP took immediate action to reclaim the property.
The recovered land has been handed over to the Assistant Commissioner Tangi, who will now finalize the required procedures before transferring the land to the relevant authorities.
Separately, a monthly open court session chaired by Advisor to the Chief Minister on Anti-Corruption Musadiq Abbasi was held to review the performance of the Anti-Corruption Department and gather feedback from the public.
The session provided an opportunity for citizens to directly voice their concerns and complaints regarding corruption and other issues, said a handout.
Musadiq Abbasi emphasized the importance of transparency and accountability in government services, urging the public to avoid paying bribes for legitimate work.
He encouraged citizens to file complaints related to corruption through the Chief Minister’s online portal, “Ikhtiar Awam Ka,” a platform designed to facilitate the reporting of grievances.
The open court session was attended by senior officials, including Siddique Anjum, Director of Anti-Corruption KP. The officials listened attentively to the complaints submitted by the public, which mainly focused on issues within the Revenue Department, Local Governments, and Housing Societies.
