Anti-polio drive continues in Mardan district on the third day with Deputy Commissioner Mardan Muhammad Abid Khan Wazir checked Civil Dispensary Sheikh Maltoon and polio teams at different places here on Saturday. The Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Abid Wazir visited various places including the Civil Dispensary and monitored the polio teams and confirmed whether the children had been vaccinated or not. Additional Deputy Commissioner Naik Mohammad, DHO Dr. Asghar and N Stop Officer Dr. Zeeshan was present on the occasion. DC Mardan directed that these children should also be vaccinated during the fourth day of polio on Sunday and the day after Sunday catch-up day. Parents, who could not be vaccinated, and especially those who refused, should be urged to vaccinate their children.
