ISLAMABAD : Islamabad High Court (IHC) while declaring the appointment of Muhammad Shahid Islam a grade-19 officer in Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) illegal has ordered to remove him from the post forthwith.
IHC bench led by Justice Fayyaz Ahmad Jandran took up the case for hearing Thursday.
The court while announcing reserved decision on the petition against the appointment of Muhammad Shahid Islam as deputy director general PSB declared his induction illegal and ordered for his immediate removal from his post.
The court also nullified the October 18,2013 promotion decision of Shahid Islam.
The court however wrote in its decision that the decisions taken by Shahid Islam as deputy director general will have legal protection and these decisions will remain in place.
