The Association of Private Sector Universities of Pakistan organized a round table conference at Abasyn University Peshawar.
According to a statement, the conference was one of the initial conferences of APSUP’s fifth annual “Rectors’ Conference,” which aimed to hold detailed discussions and formulate a comprehensive strategy for universities regarding this year’s Rectors’ Conference theme.
The Round Table Conference was hosted by Dr Muhammad Imran Ullah, Chancellor of Abasyn University.
Around 50 vice-chancellors, deans, directors, and rectors from public and private universities participated in the conference.
Professor Dr Sumaira Rahman, Rector of Superior University Lahore, attended the conference as a special guest and shared valuable research insights related to the theme of the Rectors’ Conference.
The 2024 Rectors’ Conference, scheduled for November, will feature universities from across Pakistan, with Preston University, Superior University Lahore, Ibadat International University Islamabad, and Abasyn University Peshawar taking the lead.
Through the platform of APSUP, significant steps are being taken for the development of the higher education sector.
This cooperation between the public and private sectors across Pakistan has not only significantly improved the quality of education but has also helped universities gain international recognition in global rankings.
