Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Rawalpindi has issued arrest warrants of overall more than 70 accused including former president Arif Alvi, KP Chief Minister (CM) Ali Amin Gandapur , Aleema Khanum, sister of PTI founderm, Sheikh Waqas Akram, Asad Qaisar and Hammad Azhar in May 9 and November 26 cases of attack on sensitive installations, siege and arson and violent protest.
Applications for cancellation of 68 accused have been filed.
This was stated by senior prosecutor Zahir Shah in May 9 and November 26 related cases during media briefing outside the court Thursday.
He said non bailable arrest warrants of 18 accused in Wah Cantt police station case have been obtained. Non bailable arrest warrants of Aleema Khan, Ali Amin Gandapur, Khalid Khurshid , Arif Alvi and Asad Qaisar have been obtained in this case. These accused are deliberately absenting from the court.
10 cases related to November 26 are registered in Rawalpindi while 31 cases are registered in Rawalpindi division. Bushra Bibi wife of Imran Khan is nominated accused in Shaheed constable case.
