PESHAWAR
Bail pleas of those accused in demanding extortion money from eunuchs have been dismissed.
Bail plea of the accused arrested in demanding lacs of rupees extortion money from eunuchs came up for hearing before judge Bakhtzada of Gender-Based Violence Tribunal .
Prosecution took the plea during hearing of the case the accused demanded extortion money of Rs 25 lac from eunuch Zarqa. The accused expelled Zarqa from the district and took away goods from the home of Zarqa.
The accused were giving threats of dire consequences to Zarqa persistently. These accused have remained involved in activities against eunuch community earlier.
Later the tribunal dismissed the bail pleas of the accused on completion of arguments.
