Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Irrigation Arshad Ayub Khan has directed to ensure water supply for irrigation of crops in the recent heat wave. While uninterrupted supply of water from irrigation schemes should be continued. He further said that adequate supply of water is essential to protect crops from extreme heat. The PTI provincial government is taking practical steps to provide relief to the people.
He expressed these views while presiding over meetings with various delegations in his office. The delegations apprised the Provincial Minister of the problems faced by them in their areas and thanked him for the record development work.
Talking to the delegations, Provincial Minister for Irrigation Arshad Ayub Khan said that “ the PTI government believes in practical measures instead of slogans. Health card provides free treatment in private and government hospitals across the province.”
Imported government is a guest for a few days. External conspiracies, thieves and corrupt politicians together overthrew the PTI central government under the plan. Quaid Imran Khan is struggling to save the country. The recent meetings have proved that the whole nation stands by it and is ready to make all kinds of sacrifices to thwart external conspiracies he added.
In addition, the Provincial Minister for Irrigation presided over meeting regarding the recent severe heat wave. The concerned officials apprised the Provincial Minister about the flow of water. The provincial minister issued necessary instructions on the occasion.
