A special meeting was held under the chairmanship of CCPO Muhammad Ijaz Khan to maintain law and order situation and crack down more effectively against criminal elements.
The meeting was attended by SSP Operations Haroon Rashid, and Divisional SPs at Milk Saad Shaheed Police Line Peshawar.
On this occasion, CCPOs directed strict monitoring of people released from prisons, including making human intelligence more effective in curbing street crimes, they conducted search and strike operations.
The CCPO has also directed to intensify the ongoing campaign against the notorious criminals and their facilitators during the meeting.
Special instructions were issued to review the law and order situation especially in the surrounding areas.
Muhammad Ijaz Khan also directed the police to tighten surveillance of all entrances and exits and increase patrols.
During the review of the law and order situation, the CCPO directed to intensify human-based operations and tighten checks on entry and exit routes to maintain law and order situation.
