Linking the defeat of PTI in Local Bodies (LB) polls in KP to inflation at international level, minister for production Asad Umar has said Democratic party in US and Conservative party in UK have been defeated in the election due to inflation.
He said this while talking to media men here Wednesday.
He went on to say the ruling parties are facing defeat due to inflation wherever the elections are being held in the world. Democratic party lost its seat in US after 32 years.
When the voters were asked about the reason they said that US president Biden raised the price of petroleum products, therefore, they did not support him in voting. Like wise conservative party met defeat at the hands of liberal party in UK. The inflation was the reason.
The reason for PTI defeat in KP Local bodies polls is inflation, wrong distribution of tickets and party differences, he indicated. We are analysing it in details of all this situation.
The future strategy will be evolved after taking into account all the reasons which led to our defeat in KP, he underlined.
