A delegation of overseas Pakistanis called on Punjab Governor Chaudhary Sarwar on Wednesday.
During the meeting with delegation, it was decided that the first overseas Pakistanis global convention will be held at Governor’s House on Thursday. Overseas Pakistanis will participate from all across the world, including the United States (US) and the United Kingdom (UK).
Punjab CM Usman Buzdar, Punjab Governer Chaudry Muhammad Sarwar and Syed Makhdoom Tariq will address the convention. Prime Minister Imran Khan will be the chief guest in the convention.
Chaudhary Sarwar said that the mission of Prime Minister Imran Khan is to make Pakistan strong and prosperous.
“For the first time in Pakistan institutional reforms are underway. The government has fulfilled its promise of giving the voting right to overseas Pakistanis. Overseas Pakistanis have an exemplary role in Pakistan’s economic strength.” He added.
