ATP announces to launch mass contact campaign

The Amun Taraqqi Party (ATP) has chalked out a comprehensive strategy to launch a mass contact campaign ahead of elections in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The party has invited applications from aspirants and eligible people for awarding tickets to contest the elections.
In order to review the arrangements for participation in the elections, the party chairman Muhammad Faiq Shah on Friday presided over the ATP executive committee meeting, in which various proposals and opinions were discussed.
The party central and provincial leaders, especially Awais Khan, Arsalan Shah, Mansoor Chouhan, Ishtiaq Elahi and others were present during the meeting.
The meeting decided public awareness and public campaign will continue along with electioneering to woo the voters for the upcoming polls in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
It told the meeting that the central secretariat will take vigorous steps for guidance of provincial organisations and workers.
All arrangements have been finalized in this regard, the forum was informed.
Shah while speaking on the occasion instructed the party’s responsible, office bearers and workers to intensify the campaign and reach out the people to convey vision and agenda of the Amun Taraqqi Party.
He asked the people, particularly workers and competent youth all over the country who want to participate in elections to approach the party executive committee.
Furthermore, he directed the party’s central and provincial organizations that they should actively participate in the ongoing campaign for public authority and justice to ensure representation in all districts of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Faiq urged political parties to launch a mass contact campaign to prevent the derailment of democracy.
He vowed that if the party gets a chance to form a government, it will ensure economic and social justice and provision of all fundamental rights and facilities at people’s doorstep.
The ATP chairman also reiterated his firm resolve that delegating unprecedented authorities and powers is part of the party manifesto, which will be ensured at every level.
Shah emphasized that confrontation and atmosphere of fight between institutions should be eliminated.
He said there will be ‘zero-tolerance’ against pressure, rigging and exploitation.
He urged the Election Commission of Pakistan to announce a comprehensive code of conduct to ensure polls in a fair, transparent, organized and a peaceful manner.
