ATP is struggling for public rights and authority: Faiq

PESHAWAR: Chairman, Amun Traqqi Party (ATP) Muhammad Faiq Shah said his party is striving for rights of people and vowed they will continue to raise voice for public authority and rights at every fora. In a statement issued here on Saturday, Shah reminded the ATP is carrying out a comprehensive campaign from Khyber to Karachi and Gilgit Balistan and Azad Kashmir, claiming that a large number of people have become part of the ongoing public rights movement. Commenting on the current political scenario, the party chief said people have been compelling on rebellion in the prevailing circumstances. Our Correspondent

He said no one is paying heed to miseries of poor people and downtrodden segments of the society.
“Our mission is to delegate powers and authorities to people from Central and Union Council so they public issues would be resolved at their doorstep”,
Shah continued to say that politics-based on personalities, inheritance/families are a major hurdle in transfer of power to grass- root level.
He said people have become highly frustrated from the present oppressive and political system.
There is no ‘Messiah’ to hear public woes and alleviate them, he added.
Faiq said his party has laid the foundation against exploitative politics and unjust system.
He reiterated that the ATP ongoing campaign will be sustained until the provision and delivery of justice and authorities at their doorstep.
Shah said people were being deceived again and again by PML-N, PPP, PTI, MQM and JUI and other political parties through fake manifesto, agenda and false promises.
The rising price-hike, rates of electricity, gas, petroleum products and essential food items were inherited to poor people by these rulers, and also putting additional burden of foreign debts on them, he added.
He said his party is framing and proposing strong policies for peace building, which should be implemented with true letter and spirit.
