Amun Taraqqi Party (ATP) chairman Muhammad Faiq Shah said people haven’t got relief as a result of reduction in fuel and dollar rates.
In a statement issued here on Monday, Shah said prices of essential food items are sky-high and completely out of the purchasing power of the common man, which indicate failure and incompetence of the government and authorities concerned. Hoarders, profiteers, amassing wealth and mafia are fully active, but authorities have been reluctant to take action against them, he added.
Furthermore, he said law and justice were nowhere in the country.
He emphasized the institutions and political parties must go together and sort out viable solutions to the issues that confront the country.
He added the institutions should play their proactive role in elimination of the current uncertain situation.
Shah noted farmers, labourers and businessmen are highly upset under the prevailing circumstances.
The party leader said the country’s important elements are looking towards the government. He was of the view that the volcano of inflation and uncertainty will explode anytime.
Faiq demanded an effective price control mechanism level should be framed at district level so that people could get instant relief.
He said his party, in the shape of an organised movement, has removed uncertainty and discouraged politics of opposition for opposition forever.
He also said his party has given a revolutionary manifesto and workable/viable program for youths, women and elderly people, if it is enforced then can make a change in the destiny of the whole nation.
He invited the youth, women and competent people to come forward and go with the ATP to provide justice to People.
