Badin-Sindh adorns with cultural colors on Sindhi Cultural Day


‘Sindhi Cultural Day’ is a popular as ‘Sindhi cultural festival’. It is celebrated across the world by Sindhi youths, men, women and children with traditional enthusiasm to highlight the centuries-old rich culture of Sindh.
Sindhis celebrate this day to demonstrate the peaceful identity of Sindhi culture and acquire the attention of the world towards their rich heritage.
Sindhi Culture Day was celebrated in Badin on Sunday like Eid Festival (EF) with traditional enthusiasm. Different events like rallies and cultural events were organized in throughout the district including Badin city.
The massive rally was organized in Badin which taken out from Allah Wala Chowk while marching the main wayfarers concluded outside of Badin Press Club.
A large number of people donning cultural dresses with Sindhi topi and ajrak, the traditional block printed shawls to spotlight the centuries-old rich culture of Sindh including journalists, political workers, leaders, NGOs representatives, students, laborers, villagers, associations, and citizens were participated the rally and participants purchased the traditional Topi and Ajrak on a day to mark the day.
The rally was led by Shoukat Memon President Badin Press Club, Lala Haroon Gopang, President, Awan-e-Sahafat, senior journalists Abdul Shakoor Memon, Tanweer Ahmed Arain, Shafi Muhammad Memon, Ghulam Mustafa Jamali, Haji Khalid Mehmood Ghuman, Ali Muhammad Shahani, Sawan Khaskheli, Altaf Shad Memon, Imran Abbas Khawaja and others.
While addressing the participants on the occasion of Sindhi Culture Day speakers said this day gives us the lesson to respect all traditions and customs without any discrimination. The day is meant to highlight the culture of Sindh and spread the message of love, brotherhood and peace, they added.
