Officials of the Mineral Association of KP have elected Officer Muhammad as thes provincial president for the next two years.
By consensus, Officer Muhammad was elected President for two years, besides other elected members of the cabinet include Senior Vice President Gul Zamin Shah, Vice President Professor Bilal, General Secretary Abdul Rauf Shah and Press Secretary Abdullah.
Muhammad thanked all the members for their election and reiterated his commitment to solve their problems and make efforts for their welfare. Due to non-formulation of rules, the mineral sector has reached the brink of disaster.
The concerned department is giving “giant venture” without rules, although there is an order of the Supreme Court to make rules, on the other hand, the supervisory government has made rules on its own. He further said that by ignoring court orders, the mineral department is awarding “placer gold” to a few companies of their choice from Tarbela to Kohat, due to which the people associated with the sector Disappointment is spreading among people.

In this regard, there is a decision of Justice Musrat Hilali of Peshawar High Court, who is currently a judge of the Supreme Court, in which it has been said that small blocks should be made for placer gold. So that more people can get employment opportunities instead of specific companies, but despite this, the department is not implementing the court decision and giving all the resources to a single person is not only a violation of basic human rights and natural justice, but also of the nation.
