ISLAMABAD: Bail plea of Additional Director (AD) NCCIA Chaudhry Sarfraz has been dismissed in corruption case. The case of taking bribery by NCCIA officers came up for hearing before judge of FIA Central court Wednesday. The court approved bail plea of more two officers while bail plea of AD Chaudhry Sarfraz was rejected. The court approved bail plea of NCCIA deputy director Zawar and deputy director Usman. Farooq Bajwa advocate appeared in the court on their behalf. Advocate Mian Ali Ishfaq represented additional director Mian Ali Ishfaq. The counsel for Additional Director Chaudhry Sarfraz took the plea that FIA could not present evidence against the accused in support of taking bribery by them. The case involved Rs 90 lac while recovery was made over Rs 4 crore. No aggrieved person came to open against the accused persons. It is pertinent to mention here FIA has registered case of taking bribery against the accused. Online
