Bajaur Peace Jirga sends strong message of unity, rejection of terrorism: Shafqat Ayaz

PESHAWAR: Special Assistant to the Chief Minister on Science and Information Technology, Dr. Shafqat Ayaz, has hailed the historic Peace Jirga held in Bajaur as a powerful declaration of unity, awareness, and commitment to peace by the Pashtun nation. Speaking under the direction of Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur and in line with the vision of PTI Chairman Imran Khan, Dr. Ayaz stated that the Jirga sends a clear message to the world: the Pashtun people have rejected terrorism and stand firmly on the path of peace, education, and development. He emphasized that the Pashtun nation is proud, loyal, and deeply rooted in a history of sacrifice, knowledge, friendship, and patriotism. “The people of Bajaur have shown commendable unity, courage, and pacifism,” he said, adding that the people of KP will never again allow terrorists to impose themselves on their land. Dr. Ayaz further affirmed that the provincial government values the sacrifices made by the people of tribal districts, particularly Bajaur, for peace and stability. “The government of KP stands shoulder to shoulder with them and will defend their constitutional, political, and developmental rights at every forum,” he stated.
