The Balochistan government has imposed Section 144 across the province to guarantee the transparent, fair, and peaceful conduct of the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) annual examinations 2026. The exams, conducted by the Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Quetta, are scheduled to begin on April 14.
According to a notification issued by the provincial Home Department, preventive measures have been taken to avert any untoward incidents, unrest, or illegal activities during the examination period. The directive strictly prohibits the entry of unauthorized individuals, gatherings, or any activities within 100 yards of examination centers that could disrupt the smooth conduct of exams. The restrictions will remain in force from April 14 until the conclusion of the examinations. Authorities have warned that violators will face strict legal action under the law.
Furthermore, all district administrations, police, and relevant institutions have been instructed to ensure strict implementation of these orders and to provide maximum security and transparency throughout the examination process.=DNA
