KHYBER: Police in Bara arrested two suspected drug dealers and recovered two kilograms of ice (crystal methamphetamine) during a targeted raid as part of the ongoing crackdown against narcotics traffickers in Khyber District, police said on Saturday. According to police, under the supervision of SHO Bara Zahid Ullah Khan, the operation was carried out on the directives of District Police Officer (DPO) Waqar Ahmad, a police team led by In-charge Tariq Khan conducted a raid on the hujra (male guest house) of Israr-ud-Din son of Abdul Nabi. During the search, the police seized two kilograms of Ice and arrested two suspects identified as Israr and Ilyas. The suspects, along with the recovered narcotics, were shifted to Bara Police Station, where a case was registered against them under the Control of Narcotic Substances Act and further investigation was underway, police said.
