The provincial government spokesperson Barrister Mohammad Ali Saif on Wednesday condemned the Islamabad police raids on the parliament house to round up PTI lawmakers.
He demanded action against the “perpetrators under Article 6.”
In a statement issued here, KP government spokesperson criticized the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) led government and ministers for sidelining the incident and being more concerned with the May 9 “false flag operation”.
He urged the federal government to refrain from passing “illegal amendments” and instead take concrete steps to address the contempt of Parliament.
He called on the National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq to file an FIR against those responsible for the attack and ensure accountability.
Mr Saif emphasized that a legitimate government would never allow such disrespect towards the Parliament and demanded that the “fake ministers” stop politicizing the issue and take genuine action to address the situation.
