Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan has said big mafias are sitting in the country and they don’t want rule of law in Pakistan. .
“Mafias say give us NRO and arrest the poor persons. Mafia is taking advantage of corrupt system. The past rulers had not let the system gain strength. Our nation will not become a great nation unless we become honest, truthful and just. We will succeed in war we are fighting against system and these mafias. Nation has to change itself”, he said this while addressing a ceremony in Dera Ismail Khan on Thursday in connection with distribution of Kisan Cards amongst the farmers and inauguration of Command Area of Gomal Zam Dam and Pakistan Agriculture Research Council’s Arid Research Stations.
He went on to say We need character and truthfulness to become a great nation, he observed. When Muslim got domination in the world people then were impressed by their character, No Muslim army had gone to Indonesia and Malaysia and people were impressed by the character of Muslims traders and had become Muslims.
He observed “ I have seen the entire world. You will be surprised to know that in the countries which we call disbelievers, no one watches any one and people take away news papers by placing money therein. They don’t even think there will be rigging in the polls.
He pointed out people come there straight to polling stations and return after casting their votes. No one is there to ask them.
Unfortunately such people came here who are sitting abroad with huge assets costing billion of rupees. They cannot provide a receipt in support from where the money has come. They address the people here in their speeches while sitting outside the country.
We were to become a great nation. Nation has to change itself.
Dams are being constructed in the country after fifty years, he underlined.
He said it is important to follow the principles of State of Madina to become a great nation. We need to learn from the life and teachings of Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad Sallallaho Alaihe Wa Sallam Khatim un Nabiyeen to bring improvement in our life, he stressed.
He underscored that an unjust system is in place in Pakistan as big mafias are sitting here. They are above law. They don’t allow supremacy of law in the country because they are benefitting from corrupt system.
